Todd and Lynn are Married

Todd and Lynn’s wedding was really a beautiful event.  Her grandfather officiated the ceremony which made it even more personal, and the reception was in the ballroom at the top of the President Hotel.  It was truly a night to remember.

And we stopped at Liberty Memorial on the way to the reception and got some stunning shots.  I wish we could have stayed there all night.  But it was hot.  And there was a party to get to!

Little Miss "R"

I photographed “R” when she was just a baby.  It’s hard to believe that it’s been almost three years.  We recently met down on the Plaza for some casual shots.  She was a great model!

Dr. Professional

My good friend Paul was in need of some professional shots.  We’d been talking about getting together for quite a while and we were finally able to get our schedules to align on November 1st.  We had a great time doing some casual shots here in the studio.  Shooting on a white background like this gives you a lot of options for using your professional headshots on a variety of materials.  In this case, there’s going to be some larger-than-life banners.  I can’t wait to see them.

Jon and Kandace are Engaged!

My first wedding of 2010 will be on January 1st (unfortunately there’s no prize like there is for being the first baby born at a hospital in the new year).  Jon and Kandace are a great couple and we had a lot of fun doing their pictures in the West Bottoms.  It was pouring rain when we started, so we had to be very creative when choosing our locations.  I think the shots came out great despite the rain and am putting together a wedding guest book for them featuring their favorite shots of the day.

A Trip to the Farm

Earlier this year I did a fundraiser for a local Montessori school.  As part of my donation, I gave a gift certificate to their silent auction.  The “L” family had the winning bid and called to ask if I could follow them on a trip to a local farm to photograph their daughter and family.  We had a great day and even had some four-legged friends that followed us around for the day.

So this post lends itself to me mentioning a couple of things: First of all, if you are involved with a charity or non-profit organization, I’d love to talk with you about the possibility of donations.  Secondly, if you have pets that you’d like to have photographed, I’d love to talk with you about that, too.
